About Membership |
Our members work at establishments both large and small and throughout the UK. Some work single-handed, others as part of a large brigade. some regularly produce banquets for 100's of guests, others run a 'one table restaurant'. All have in common a passion for fine food and service, and the highest level of professionalism. Members cannot pay to join, they have to be elected following proposal by at least two referees. Member chefs demonstrate at trade and retail shows as well as in-store spreading the word of ‘can cook, will cook’. Cookery demonstrations are designed to be educational showing specific techniques, informative by giving away the professional secrets and, above all, producing dishes that can be tasted then replicated in the restaurant or home.
